My Philosophy

Every story has a beginning. Mine is rooted in passion, resilience, and artistry. I turned my love for hair and makeup into a career at 24, and since then my mission has been clear: to create a luxurious beauty experience that makes you feel confident, radiant, and celebrated in your own skin.

WHERE I FEEL MOST ALIVE THE SUN
CAFFEINE BECAUSE SOME ART REQUIRES IT
WHAT I CARRY WITH ME MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS
NEW PLACES ALWAYS CALLING MY NAME
HOW YOU'LL FIND ME CAMERA IN HAND
GOOD FOODHOW I RECHARGE
PROOF THAT LOVE DOESN'T NEED WORDS DOGS
STORIES THAT MOVE ME THE REASON I CREATE

What began behind the chair eventually found its way
behind the lens.

After a car accident and thyroid cancer diagnosis, I started to see beauty differently — not as perfection, but as presence. Artistry became more than makeup; it became a way to connect, to celebrate individuality, and to tell stories that felt real.

Through Roop Vashi Artistry, I help people see themselves the way I do — timeless, effortless, and deeply themselves — and through Roop Vashi Photo, I capture that same feeling in imagery that’s cinematic, emotional, and honest.

Portraits of a Desi Girl sits at the intersection of the two — a storytelling series that honors South Asian women through vulnerability, identity, and strength.
It’s where artistry meets memory, and where every story becomes its own piece of art.
Whether it’s a look or a photograph, my purpose is the same — to create something that makes you feel seen.
